Hydroseeding:

Hydroseeding is a method of creating lawns that involves covering an area with the mix of water and grass seeds with an addition of a cellulose stabiliser and gelling substances, gluing preparations and fertilizers. The coloured suspension is distributed on areas designated for sowing with a specialist hydro-seeder. The tight cover of the whole area prevents soil erosion and protects sprouting seeds against wind and birds. The quality and efficiency of hydroseeding are much higher than of traditional lawn creation. This method is indispensible wherever the local conditions prevent the traditional sowing, where laying sod is difficult due to steep slopes and on very large areas.
